Daniel Defense M4A1 RIS II 12.25" Handguard

Designed at the request of the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) for the SOPMOD II program, the Daniel Defense® M4A1 RIS II 12.25" Handguard is crafted of precision CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum with a corrosion-resistant hard-coat anodized finish for exceptional strength and lasting durability in a lightweight and easily maneuverable package. The 2-piece design allows for the attachment of an M203 grenade launcher when the lower rail section is removed, while the combat-proven 6-bolt system securely attaches the handguard to the upper receiver with 8 Mil-Spec fasteners for superior rigidity and improved strength. The free-float design maximizes your rifle barrel's accuracy potential, and the heavily vented profile facilitates rapid cooling, even under sustained rapid-fire conditions. Plus, the uninterrupted upper rail platform and Mil-Spec Picatinny rails with markings provide ample attachment space for weapon-mounted accessories, such as weapon lights, laser sights, optics, and more.
