The Sig Sauer® P320 is an ambidextrous and modular striker-fired centerfire pistol, specifically engineered for civilian target shooters, personal defense shooters, and law enforcement agencies across the United States and abroad. Available in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP, the P320 features enhanced ergonomics and ambidextrous fire controls for improved comfort and control with either hand, while the striker-fired trigger system offers a consistent pull and crisp break for enhanced accuracy and speedy follow-up shots in virtually any target or tactical shooting scenario.

Modularity and Conversion
The P320 boasts a serialized internal stainless steel frame fire control unit, designed to deliver quick installation with interchangeable grip modules for versatile field service and adaptability.

What is a striker-fired fire system?
Striker-fired pistols are simple in their operation because after the shooter manually racks the slide to chamber a round, each trigger pull fires a single round, ejects the spent casing, loads another round into the chamber, and rearms the firing pin, all in less than one second. Because there is no hammer to cock or release, the trigger pull of most striker-fired pistols is effortless to pull and has low pull weights, allowing shooters of all shapes and sizes to operate the firearm more reliably under extreme stress. Striker-fired pistols require the slide to be pulled rearward, or “racked” back and released forward, pulling the firing pin rearward and capturing it under spring tension. The trigger releases the striker mechanism, allowing the spring tension to release and force the pin forward to strike the primer, firing the round in the chamber.
