Savage Arms

In 1984 the Savage Arms Company was organized by Arthur Savage. During this time he moved to Utica, New York where he developed the Savage Halpine torpedo and invented the first hammerless lever action rifle with the mechanism enclosed in a steel receiver which featured a rotary magazine with a unique counter that visually displayed the number of bullets remaining in the receiver.

Savage Arms has been delivering innovative products for over 100 years which has caused them to develop into one of the world’s largest manufacturers of hunting rifles and shotguns.
