Founded in Sweden in 1974, Aimpoint® is a world-renowned designer and manufacturer of red dot technology. Committed to providing quality, innovative optic solutions, Aimpoint is constantly improving existing red dot technology, while simultaneously developing new optics and technology for both civilian and professional shooters.

Originally designed for hunters and sport shooters, red dot technology began to take hold with military and law enforcement personnel in the early 1990s. In 1997, Aimpoint signed their first contract with the United States Army to deliver 100,000 Aimpoint CompM (also known as the M68CCO) red dot sights. Since then, over 1 million units have been delivered to the United States Army and Air Force and are now in service with most NATO countries, numerous police agencies, and special teams across the globe.

Today, Aimpoint has 2 production facilities, located in Malmö and Gällivare, Sweden. Certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 specifications, Aimpoint remains at the forefront of red dot sighting technology, and continues to work closely with experienced hunters, marksmen, and professional shooters around the world to develop new and improved optics technology.
