The Daniel Defense® M4A1 FSP AR-15 14.5" Pinned CMV 5.56 Upper Receiver w/ RIS II Handguard was designed for shooters who want a firearm inspired by USSOCOM SOPMOD Block II. The Daniel Defense M4A1 FSP Rail Interface System II handguard is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a corrosion-resistant hardcoat anodized FDE finish. The 2-piece design for USSOCOM allows for the attachment of an M203 grenade launcher when the lower rail section is removed. A battle-tested, 6-bolt bolt-up system securely attaches the handguard to the upper receiver while grade 8 Mil-Spec fasteners add extra durability. The uninterrupted upper rail platform and Mil-Spec Picatinny rails provide plenty of space for your favorite weapon-mounted accessories like weapon lights. The 14.5" barrel is chambered for 5.56 and features chrome moly vanadium steel construction with a corrosion-resistant heavy phosphate coated finish. This cold hammer forged barrel is chrome lined with a 1:7 twist for superior accuracy. Even better, this barrel comes with a Surefire® SF3P flash hider/suppressor adapter that is pinned and welded. Barrel is HP/MPI tested. This upper receiver group boasts a direct impingement, carbine-length, gas system with a Mil-Spec F-Marked front sight base. The upper receiver is built to Mil-Spec and is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a corrosion-resistant hardcoat anodized finish. It boasts a top Picatinny rail and indexing marks to make mounting your accessories quick and easy. M4 feed ramps ensure smooth, consistent feeding.
