The upper receiver is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a corrosion-resistant Type III hard coat anodized finish. Even better, this upper receiver features a Mil-Spec design and is built with M4 feed ramps to help ensure smooth, consistent feeding. The top Picatinny rail features indexing marks so you can easily mount your favorite optics and iron sights. The 16" barrel is chambered for 5.56 and features a cold hammer forged design with Chrome Moly Vanadium steel construction and a corrosion-resistant heavy phosphate coating.  What’s more, this chrome lined barrel is HP and MPI tested and it boasts a 1:7 twist rate for superior precision when you need it the most. If that’s not enough, this barrel comes with a Daniel Defense flash suppressor already installed. Also features a Government profile and is compatible with mid-length gas systems. Finally, the 15" MFR handguard is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard coat anodized corrosion-resistant finish. A continuous Picatinny top rail and plenty of M-LOK slots provide all the space you need for your favorite weapon-mounted accessories like weapon lights or grips.
