The Battle Arms Development® WORKHORSE® AR-15 16" CMV 5.56 Upper Receiver w/ 15" M-LOK® Handguard is a complete upper receiver group designed to speed up or upgrade any rifle build. The WORKHORSE upper receiver is constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with a corrosion-resistant Type III hard coat anodized finish for superior strength and durability that creates a solid foundation for this upper receiver group and your rifle. A top notch cut matches the WORKHORSE and RIGIDRAIL aesthetic while an M4 feed ramp ensures smooth feeding every time. What’s more, this upper receiver group features a Picatinny top rail so you can use your favorite iron sights and optics. Comes with forward assist and port door installed. Next up in this upper receiver group is the WORKHORSE M-LOK 15" handguard with 6061-T6 aluminum construction and a corrosion-resistant Type III hard coat anodized finish. This handguard features a free float, slimline, and lightweight design with skeletonized areas to help shave off extra weight. What’s more, the continuous Picatinny top rail and M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions offer plenty of space for your weapon-mounted accessories.

Finally, the 16" 5.56 barrel boasts Chrome Moly Vanadium steel construction with a corrosion-resistant nitride finish. This barrel features a 1:7 twist rate for superior precision and is compatible with mid-length gas systems. Plus, this barrel features a .750" gas block journal for low-profile gas blocks. If that’s not enough, this barrel comes with an A2 flash hider already installed.
