Faxon ARAK-21 AR-15 7.62x39 Upper Receiver w/ Picatinny Handguard

The Faxon Firearms ARAK-21 AR-15 7.62x39 Complete Upper Receiver features a 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum billet receiver with a full-length flat-top Picatinny rail and three additional rails on the muzzle end of the receiver for maximum versatility. The dual-reciprocating design eliminates the need for a buffer tube, resulting in a more compact and lightweight rifle. The long-stroke variable setting gas piston system ensures smooth and consistent operation, while an integral gas block cleaning port facilitates faster and more precise cleaning. An ambidextrous, non-reciprocating charging handle and swappable ejection port easily accommodate both left- and right-handed shooters and the self-contained firing pin retention system is enclosed in a rectangular bolt carrier, eliminating the need for a cotter pin. A hardened steel rail system provides a metal-on-metal wear surface for the bolt carrier to ride on, offering improved wear characteristics and smoother operation. Plus, this fully assembled upper receiver boasts a steel barrel with a factory-installed Faxon muzzle brake for reduced felt recoil and enhanced accuracy. Compatible with standard Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receivers.
