Machined for use with AR-10 .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor rifles, this bolt carrier group (BCG) is MPI and HPT tested and has sand cuts that improve reliability, especially in heavily fouled guns. Further, the increase in mass helps to ensure proper gas pressure with increased dwell time that improves extraction especially when shooting suppressed or short-barreled rifles. The bolt features Mil-Spec dimensions and its external surfaces are CNC Ground after heat treatment to ensure a precision fit. Plus, the area behind the gas rings is also precision CNC Ground after heat treatment to provide the smoothest area possible for easier cleanup and better longevity. The carrier assembly features a flared rear that helps reduce carrier tilt during recoil and has strategically relocated key bearing surfaces for increased reliability. What’s more, the carrier assembly boasts case hardened 8620 steel for superior strength and lasting dependability. The bolt features 9310 Case Hardened Steel construction and bolt components are Shot Peened and Black Nitride coated for superior corrosion-resistant.
