Features 8620 steel construction with a shot-peened 9310 steel bolt. A corrosion-resistant nitride finish offers lasting protection from rust, corrosion, and premature wear. Further, a chrome-lined steel gas key features Grade 8 hardware with proper staking methods to ensure proper function with your rifle. Magnetically particle inspected for smooth performance. Constructed to meet or exceed mil-spec standards, this bolt carrier group (BCG) is engineered to reduce carrier tilt and friction inside your upper receiver to help reduce wear and tear, especially during extended use. The flared boss at the tail of the carrier enhances the BCG's lock position within the upper, resulting in improved accuracy and reliability. Plus, the patent-pending CP-R360™ domed head cam pin is machined from 17-4PH stainless steel and hardened to H900 condition for reduced wear.
