Add some more versatility to your rifle with the KNS Precision® AR / MCX Stock Adapter With Flange. Boasting lightweight aluminum construction with a corrosion-resistant finish, this adapter is designed for unmatched durability in virtually any shooting environment. This kit is made up of two parts with an attaching bolt. An externally threaded adapter plug fits into the threaded buffer socket or ring, and the adapter rail section fits into the slot in the adapter plug. The two are then secured to each other and the firearm by a hex-socket bolt and lock washer. This adapter allows you to mount a Picatinny-style stock attachment, like a Sig Sauer® MCX folding stock, in place of an AR-15-style buffer tube and offers a modular alternative for attaching stocks and other accessories. What’s more, this adapter includes a flange in the base of the Picatinny plate that allows the use of a standard takedown pin, detent, and spring on traditional AR-15 lower receivers. This kit is designed for rifles with a buffer tube attachment but does not mechanically require it because they do not use an in-line buffer spring.
