The disconnector's face makes full contact with the hammer to eliminate the risk of selector lever misfires, while the elongated tail ensures the disconnector comes to a full stop on the rear trigger guard rivet, and the hammer stop prevents the hammer from slamming on the trigger for enhanced safety and performance.
