Pulsar

Pulsar

Founded by a group of Belarusian engineers during the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, Pulsar is a European manufacturer of premium, performance-enhanced rifle scopes, monoculars, and binoculars. In 1998, Pulsar combined efforts with a group of Texas-based American engineers to begin integrating night-vision technology into their first-generation night-vision monocular. These devices were among the first to utilize multiple settings of the IR and were the first to incorporate a dual IR system. In 2001, Pulsar released the first non-military night-vision scope, their iconic first-generation night-vision rifle scope, which utilized a durable, yet lightweight titanium housing for virtually indestructible field service.

After seeing incredible success in the civilian market, Pulsar began production of their next-gen night vision rifle scopes in 2002 and 2003, using a modified design equipped with mil-spec intensifier tubes. Pulsar also released the first non-military multi-tasking night vision device for civilian shooters in 2003.

In 2004, the first successful digital night vision optic was officially introduced and the public response was extremely favorable. No other company was able to produce a viable digital night vision device of equal performance to this first unit for nearly a decade. This technology has been undergoing continuous improvements and is the reason why Pulsar is still the leader in digital night vision systems today.

Pulsar officially launched in Europe in 2009 and also unveiled the Digisight digital night vision riflescope at IWA in Europe and SHOT Show in the United States. This series has been updated and is still recognized as the best-performing digital riflescope ever produced and was the first digital night vision riflescope on the market. The Digisight also introduced many other features never seen before in a digital night vision riflescope: first to use one-shot zero, first to use an advanced in-view menu system, first to use a remote activation pad, first to provide both contrast and brightness adjustments, first to provide external power, first to use battery packs allowing longer use in the field, the first to provide a video output for recording, and first to use flip up built-in lens caps.

Since 2009, Pulsar has become a trusted name in thermal and night-vision technology for military, law enforcement, and civilian markets. At GunMag Warehouse, we offer an ever-growing collection of Pulsar thermal and night-vision optics and accessories at low, budget-friendly prices anyone can afford. Shop our full collection today!
