The SRS™ is designed to keep the buffer spring from rubbing against the inner wall of the buffer tube for smooth and quiet operation, while the second stage reduces felt recoil for improved reliability. Better yet, the buffer mass is designed to stay under constant tension against the bolt carrier for consistent operation and reliable performance.
