Automatic Brightness Control continuously adjusts display output for improved visibility and sharper definition, while the integrated infrared illuminator enables covert operation in total darkness. To help protect internal components, the bright light cut-off feature automatically shields the image tube from excessive light exposure. Featuring ergonomic and straightforward controls, the PVS-7 can be comfortably operated as a handheld unit or mounted setup with the optional helmet mount and flip-up shut-off capability. The PVS-7 is the highest-quality AN/PVS-7 B/D on the market and features a Gen 3 Auto-Gate Level 1 Image Intensifier tube for enhanced target identification and image detail in low-light and no-light conditions. Compatibility with afocal magnifier lenses expands long-distance viewing performance, while integrated LED indicators monitor IR activation and battery life.
