Smith & Wesson SD9 2.0 Magazines

About the Smith & Wesson SD9 2.0

The Smith & Wesson SD9 2.0 is the new and improved version of Smith & Wesson's SD9 pistol. The SD9 2.0 is a compact pistol chambered in 9mm that boasts unmatched durability making it perfect for CCW and self-defense shooters. This pistol has a standard mag capacity of 16 to give shooters plenty of firepower at the range or for concealed-carry and it also features a 10-round mag for those who don't need as much firepower or those who live in states with magazine capacity restrictions. The SD9 2.0 features aggressive texturing on its handle so shooters can enjoy a solid grip with superior ergonomics for better accuracy and quicker follow-up shots when it matters most. Further, the magazine release button features aggressive texturing for intuitive use even while wearing gloves. Featuring a polymer main frame with a stainless steel slide, this striker-fired pistol features a new flat-face trigger designed to give users a consistent pull for a repeatable experience and improved accuracy.

The new slide serration pattern makes racking the slide easier than ever while an integral accessory rail in front of the trigger guard allows for easy attachment of weapon-mounted tactical lights or laser sights. Further, the white-dot front sight combines with the white-bracket rear sight to provide you with rapid target acquisition, especially in low lighting. Plus, the rear sight is dovetailed into the slide and is drift adjustable so you can experience intuitive and unmatched target acquisition. Better yet, the stainless steel barrel boasts a 1:18.75" twist rate for superior accuracy at the range or in the field. To top it all off, the Smith & Wesson SD9 2.0 is compatible with existing holsters, weapon lights, and laser sights designed for the original SD9 pistol.

Flat vs Curved Trigger

When it comes to firearms, there are so many ways shooters can customize their favorite guns for improved comfort, performance, and looks. One of the things shooters can customize is the trigger. So do I need a flat or curved trigger? Well, it depends. A flat trigger allows for uniform contact between your finger and the trigger blade. The idea is that a flatter, more vertical trigger does not require finger placement to be as precise because the trigger reach should be the same distance at the bottom of the trigger shoe as the top. A curved trigger reduces the distance from the back of your shooting grip to the trigger face meaning you don't have to reach as far. Ultimately what it comes down to is the user's preference and what the gun's intended use is going to be.
