Specifically engineered for personal defense applications, the Ruger® LCP Max® is a lightweight, double-stack, pocket-carry pistol, chambered in .380 ACP. Originally released in 2021, the LCP Max features a durable, yet lightweight polymer frame with improved ergonomics engineered to allow shooters of all shapes and sizes to comfortably fire and control the pistol, while the robust slide release and reversible magazine release latch readily adapt to left-handed or small-framed shooters. The alloy steel slide features aggressive grip serrations for speedy handling and comes equipped with a fiber optic front sight and a serrated U-notch rear sight for quick, intuitive target acquisition. The Secure Action™ fire-control system boasts a protected internal hammer and a bladed-safety trigger for enhanced safety and confident carry with a round in the chamber. The trigger offers a short, smooth pull, clean break, and positive reset, and the integral hammer stop prevents the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled for safe carry without inhibiting performance.
