Designed around the Ruger-57™ pistol, the all-new Ruger LC Carbine is a blowback-operated pistol caliber carbine (PCC), chambered in the famed 5.7x28mm cartridge. The dead-blow action features a custom tungsten dead-blow weight that shortens bolt travel and reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise for improved control. The bolt is machined from heat-treated, chrome-moly steel for lasting strength, superior structural integrity, and exceptional durability in any fast-action tactical or home defense application. The durable aluminum billet receiver boasts an integrated Picatinny-style rail for versatile optics mounting options and superior stability under stress, while the 16” heavy contoured, cold hammer-forged steel barrel provides exceptional accuracy and lasting field service in any tactical or home defense application. Weighing in at just under 6 lbs., the lightweight and compact Ruger LC Carbine utilizes the same steel magazines and familiar ergonomic controls as the Ruger-5.7 pistol, while the unique bolt-over-barrel design with a built-in grip magazine well offers exceptional balance and intuitive control. Further, the LC Carbine features a reversible folding stock, with an adjustable length of pull for a custom fit and finish, and the CNC-milled handguard features a durable Type III hard-coat anodized finish for superior corrosion resistance and enhanced stability while on the move. To top it off, the LC Carbine features Ruger's proprietary Secure Action™ fire-control system, engineered to deliver a short, smooth pull, clean break, and positive reset, while multiple QD sling sockets for maximum versatility and quick installation of single-point and two-point slings equipped with QD mounts.
