About the KRISS Vector
Debuted in 2007, the KRISS® Vector is the first Glock®-compatible submachine gun ever to hit the market. The Vector uses an articulated Super V System, a unique delayed blowback system, designed to force the bolt and inertia block to move downward into a recess behind the magazine well, rather than rearward into the shoulder for reduced felt recoil and improved comfort and control in virtually any target-rich environment. Additionally, the bore axis is in line with both the shoulder and hand of the shooter, further reducing felt recoil and muzzle rise for improved comfort and control helps reduce muzzle rise.

The Kriss Vector SMG boasts an extremely fast fire rate of up to 1,200 rounds per minute, delivering lightning-fast bursts with extremely short pulls of the trigger to deliver incredible stopping power, without forfeiting control. However, the civilian-legal pistol and rifle variants are delivered in semi-auto configurations only. 

What is the KRISS Super V System?
Most pistol caliber carbines utilize a linear, direct blowback firing system, which forces the bolt rearward toward the shooter’s shoulder, resulting in relatively strong felt recoil, dramatic muzzle rise, and reduced overall comfort and control while on the move. The Super V System, however, is a nonlinear blowback system, designed to force the bolt downward, rather than rearward, to mitigate felt recoil and eliminate muzzle rise for faster follow-up shots and improved accuracy. In principle, the Super V System is identical in operation to other delayed blowback systems in that it uses the gasses of the spent cartridge to propel the bolt back and allow the next round to be chambered successfully. Where it differs from other systems is the downward direction of travel and enhanced balance and control when compared to other systems.
