Compatible with carbine-length and mid-length buffer tubes, the Geissele Automatics® H2 Super 42 Braided Wire Buffer Spring and Buffer Combo is a versatile, midweight buffer and buffer spring combo, designed to deliver smooth and reliable function and reliability with your AR-15 pattern rifle. The braided wire spring features three independent strands of wire, designed to act as a harmonic damper and energy absorber by allowing the springs to flex separately from each other, displacing excess energy and decreasing the risk of spring failure. Further, the high-strength steel buffer and spring work together to eliminate the annoying spring vibrations often heard and felt through the buttstock. Better yet, the Super 42 Spring has a 15% stronger average return force than the standard buffer spring, easily stripping rounds out of the magazine when operating with a dirty weapon or when using steel-cased ammo. Compatible with carbine-length buffer tubes ONLY. Not recommended for use with .300 Blackout ammunition.
