Flux Defense ETQ Gen-2 1.5" Wide Tourniquet

The Flux Defense ETQ Gen-2 1.5" Wide Tourniquet builds on a proven Gen 1 design and used input from the military, EMS, law enforcement, and civilians for its design. The wide tourniquet retains a compact form while introducing new patent-pending upgrades for safer and easier application. The Power Curve slot, where the band is pulled through, is curved, unlike other tourniquets, and spreads the load placed on the band when tight to focus the tension on the center. The new Tri-Grip Windlass has 3 flat surfaces per side that give your fingers more surface area and a better grip while twisting the windlass compared to a traditional rod shape. The windlass features high-strength polymer-composite construction that won't break. The new Power Ring steel ring under the windlass makes this one of the easiest tourniquets to turn in the industry. The improved tourniquet body keeps the tourniquet in a straighter configuration, while an enlarged carabiner lock makes it easier to stow the windlass. Plus, the Gen 2 band is now backed with a webbing for more rigidity and to prevent it from folding in half.
