Faxon Firearms Gen 2 6.5 Creedmoor / 8.6 Blackout AR-10 Bolt Carrier Group

The Faxon Firearms® Gen 2 6.5 Creedmoor / 8.6 Blackout AR-10 Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) is Superfinished to reduce friction, increase the smoothness of operation, and reduce fouling. The bolt features 9310 tool steel construction and is heat treated and shot peened to Mil-Spec. The back of the lugs is chamfered for smooth, consistent use and the bolt is nested with .308 spec springs with an O-ring. Plus, the bolt features a QPQ salt bath Nitrided corrosion-resistant finish. The extractor is fully heat treated 4140 tool steel construction with a corrosion-resistant QPQ salt bath Nitrided finish and is shot peened per Mil-Spec. The carrier is Superfinished and constructed with 8620 steel while the key features 4140 steel construction. Forward assist serrations work in tandem with the forward assist to ensure the bolt is locked into place while grade 8 fasteners and the fully and properly staked key ensure a solid build. The cam pin is constructed with 4140 pre-hardened steel with a QPQ salt bath Nitrided finish. DPMS Gen 1 compatible.
