The DMA Inc. Phase-1LA XTS Modular .223 / 5.56 Muzzle Brake - 1/2x28 was designed for modern rifle builds, pairing a high-efficiency staged brake with a thread-over flash splitter/cone module for controlled recoil, reduced muzzle rise, forward blast management, and suppressor-host-ready alignment. The sequential expansion port system features a smaller primary expansion port followed by a larger secondary chamber to reduce harsh overpressure spikes, provide a smoother recoil impulse, and improve tracking during rapid strings of fire. Directional port geometry is tuned to counteract rearward recoil forces and mitigate vertical climb, helping maintain a flat sight picture during rapid engagement. The balanced lateral venting controls recoil without excessive side blast, making this muzzle device more shooter-friendly than aggressive competition brakes. Plus, this feature also reduces discomfort in training or team environments. The suppressor-host internal bore geometry offers a clean transition from the muzzle crown to the expansion chamber, minimizing abrupt gas shear, and is designed with a concentric suppressor alignment philosophy. The XTS system was built for 13.7" and 13.9" barrels and adds +2.325" to bring the barrels to a compliant 16" when permanently attached. Features high-strength steel construction. 1/2x28 threads.
