With nearly 50 years in business, Streamlight®, Inc. is the leading manufacturer of weapon lights and accessories. Streamlight began when a group of engineers set up a laboratory in Fairfield, New Jersey and designed a product that generated 25,000,000 candella of light for NASA, which was interested in developing a solar simulator for the space program to simulate sunlight outside the filtering of the atmosphere. The technology developed during the NASA research was then used to design and develop a handheld flashlight that produced 1,000,000 candella for military and law enforcement users.

In 1973, a private investor from the Philadelphia area moved the company to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and created Streamlight, Inc. In 1977, Streamlight relocated to Norristown, PA, and in November 2001, steady growth and a rapidly expanding product line led the company to move to the current headquarters in Eagleville, PA. Today, Streamlight’s total plant size is more than 240,000 square feet, providing ample space for research, development, and manufacturing of the world’s best-selling weapon lights, favored by military, law enforcement, and private shooters worldwide. An ISO 9001:2015 certified company, Streamlight designs and manufactures high-performance lighting solutions for professional law enforcement, military, firefighting, industrial, automotive, and outdoor applications, holding more than 150 U.S. patents, and over 100 U.S. and Foreign Trademarks.

Known for their superior quality and customer service, Streamlight takes great pride in hands-on research and development. Engineering, leadership, sales, and customer service employees regularly participate in field training courses and other hands-on activities to better understand customer needs and provide best-in-class customer service. To that end, all Streamlight products are backed by a lifetime warranty, ensuring products are free of defects for superior performance and reliability.

Streamlight is a proud supporter of a variety of charitable organizations, serving as a major sponsor of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), as well as the National Fallen Firefighters® (NFFF). The company also supports charitable organizations through its “Lights for a Cause” flashlight series. The program consists of a line of specialty key chain and other lights, from which sales proceeds are donated to charitable causes. Beginning with “pink” lights to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s in finding a cure for breast cancer, the program has expanded to include lights for C.O.P.S. and NFFF.
