Originally founded in 1968 under the name "Brown's Gun Shop," Ed Brown Products Inc. was incorporated in June 1992 to manufacture a complete line of 1911 components and accessories. After perfecting the 1911 and its accessories, the company redesigned the 1911 platform around the 9mm cartridge and introduced their popular EVO series 1911 before expanding into other handgun platforms, producing high-quality aftermarket gun parts and accessories for popular handguns, including the Smith & Wesson M&P and Glock handguns.
