Hammerli Arms has released its newest member to its product line-up with the new Force B1 rifle in .22LR. After 160 years in business, the Force B1 is the latest in a long line of quality products from Hammerli.
The new Force B1 .22LR rifle has updated features that make it a sure thing in any situation, according to the company. With things like the straight pull bolt-action and a quick-change barrel system, the Force B1 is anything but ordinary.
“The Force B1 combines capabilities from competitive shooting with outdoor enthusiasts who spend time in the field, withstanding nature’s elements. The mechanical features make this firearm resilient while building confidence with every shot,” said Jens Krogh, vice president of marketing and product development. “This rifle is the perfect survival tool and encourages shooters to tap into their natural instincts. They’ll never have to miss out on relentless functionality when faced with the ever-changing demands of the environment.”
The quick-change barrel system allows users to swap between .22LR and .22WMR calibers as well as barrel lengths at their discretion. The rifle features a 16.1-inch factory-threaded barrel. Utilizing 1/2×28 thread pitch, the Force B1 accepts many different muzzle devices or suppressors straight out of the box. Another key feature of the Force B1 is the straight pull bolt action. This allows fast and quiet pulls with the toggle-style mechanism for even faster on-target follow-up shots with an added level of quiet, perfect for use with a suppressor.
The Force B1 was designed to be customizable for the end user — from an adjustable stock and comb height to the Picatinny rail and Ruger 10/22-compatible trigger group. These options allow shooters to add whatever features they want to their Force B1 to make it their dream weapon. Furthermore, Hammerli’s mag well adapter system allows users to change magazine calibers with ease.
The Hammerli Arms Force B1 rifle has an overall length between 35.5 to 37.4 inches depending on the stock. The rifle’s overall weight is 5.75 pounds and ships ith a 10-round magazine. The Force B1 .22LR rifle from Hammerli Arms has an MSRP of $649 and is available now.
