Bergara Launches New Competition Rifle in 6 GT

Precision rifle shooters are always out to squeeze as much accuracy with fewer drop calculations as possible. Each will have a favorite rifle platform and a particular cartridge. Lately, the 6 GT round has come onto the scene to rival other 6mm precision cartridges. In response, Bergara of Lawrenceville, Georgia, is now chambering their Competition Rifle in 6 GT.

Now available in 6 GT, as well as 6mm Creedmoor and 6.5mm Creedmoor, Bergara’s rifle is geared toward long-range competition. It features a 26-inch No. 7 profile stainless-steel threaded barrel and a Sako-style bolt-action receiver mounted in a Masterpiece Arms gray-anodized aluminum chassis.

The Masterpiece Arms chassis is designed for long-range competition work, and that means maximum adjustment. The rubber buttpad and cheek rest are adjustable. The chassis ‘handguard is slotted for M-LOK accessories on the left or right side, but also a moveable Swiss rail for flexible mounting and adjusting of the bipod of your choice. Opposite the Swiss rail is an integral section of Picatinny-style rail for additional accessories.

The Competition Rifle feeds from 10-round AICS-compatible polymer magazines and uses a Triggertech frictionless release trigger that is light and creepless with every round you take. The new 6 GT Competition Rifle is priced like other models in Bergara’s Comp lineup, with an MSRP of $2,750 and a retail price of $2,499.99.
