CVA Introduces New 7mm PRC Caliber Rifle to Cascade XT Line

Since its founding as Connecticut Valley Arms in 1971, CVA has developed a reputation for providing customers with high-performing firearms, and its Cascade XT has become the company’s precision-oriented member of the Cascade family of bolt-action rifles. The line features sporting weight-reducing flutes and a radial muzzle brake as standard equipment, which have made the XT very comfortable to shoot both on the range and in the field.

The company announced that it has listened to customer demand and has introduced a 7mm PRC caliber rifle to the Cascade XT line. It features several benefits for the shooter and the hunter alike, including magnum speeds with great accuracy, without the hard-pounding recoil found in many magnum calibers. In addition, the 7mm PRC boasts speeds of around 3,000 FPS with several different ammunition options available.

CVA’s Cascade XT line offers a tactical-style bolt knob that benefits the shooter by giving better leverage ensuring a smooth and rapid bolt manipulation, while it also features a threaded muzzle, making it ready for a brake or suppressor. The two-position safety is also conveniently located for natural and instantaneous operation, and its flush-fit detachable magazine can make loading a breeze. The XT weight starts at a mere 7.15 lbs.

The XT line has also been available in .223 Remington, 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Winchester, .450 Bushmaster, .350 Legend, 6.5 PRC, 7mm Remington Magnum, and .300 Winchester Magnum. The 7mm PRC is available now for $825.99 MSRP.
