Taurus Releases Multiple New Gun Offerings at NRA 2024

At this year’s National Rifle Association of America (NRA) Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Dallas, Texas, Taurus USA released several new product offerings, including the TX22 Gen2 with Optics Ready and state-compliant versions.

The original TX22 Gen 1 featured a 4-inch barrel. The new TX22 Gen 2 is still chambered in .22LR and is fitted with a 4.16-inch large OD barrel. It has a new slide with a Glock sight configuration. The recoil spring has been updated, and it comes with a 16-round and 22-round magazine. The TX22 is available in Optic Ready and multiple colors, while state-compliant versions are also offered.

608 Competition

Taurus USA is also introducing the 608 Competition revolver with a 6-inch non-ported barrel. Chambered for .357 Magnum, the revolver comes with stellar clips, chamfered chambers, VZ G10 grip, and Hi-Viz fiber optic sights. It is available for $1,151.99 (MSRP).

In addition, attendees at the NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits can see the newly revealed 692 Executive series revolvers ($1,106.99 MSRP). Available in either .357 Magnum, .38 Special, or 9mm, these feature 3-inch barrels, chamfered chambers, hand-polished satin finish, custom walnut checkered grips, and two cylinders. The single-action/double-action revolvers are outfitted with brass bead front sights and are outfitted with a Nanuk lockable hard case.

ARs aren’t the only “black guns” as noted by the Rossi LWC brake action single-shot rifle, which is now available in multiple calibers.

From the Rossi line, Taurus is also introducing its LWC rifle, which features a steel receiver with polymer overmold, black polymer stock and for-end, a 16-inch threaded barrel, and aluminum Picatinny rail. The single-shot, brake action rifle will be available this fall in multiple calibers, including .300 Blackout, .350 Legend, .44 Magnum, 5.56x45mm, .357 Magnum, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 8.6 Blackout ($339.99 MSRP). A .300 Blackout with red dot sight for $386.99 (MSRP) and a .350 Legend with scope for $386.99 will also be offered later this year.
