The Optic Guard This optic guard is designed to maximize stability and zero retention, this optic guard features precision-machined 7075 billet aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish, shielding your pistol-mounted optic from bumps, drops, scratches, and other potential hazards. TRU-SEAL™ technology eliminates the need for a sealing plate, while O-ring-sealed mounting screws ensure watertight integrity without sacrificing stability. A proprietary STUD-LOK™ threaded stud/nut mounting interface includes steel studs and self-locking sleeve nuts for a secure lockup with superior thread engagement and increased shear resistance.
