Savage Arms has expanded its accessory offerings with a new product line. The new High-Performance Bipod lineup currently had two models to choose from including an M-LOK and Sling Swivel mounting options. The new bipod accessories join a large family of accessories from Savage Arms, including magazines and the new AccuCan suppressor lineups.
Constructed from a durable and lightweight premium polymer blend material, the two new bipods feature a one-handed control, buttonless leg rotation, and quick deployment. The lightweight materials make the bipod ideal for hunters and shooters, adding at most 12.5 ounces to the overall weight of the host system.
“We’re building a lifestyle brand around the modern shooter and hunter,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing at Savage. “Bipods that make training, competition, and hunting easier and more enjoyable are a great extension of our brand. These new options were designed for performance. We’re excited to see these paired with our new and innovative rifles in competitive, training and hunting scenarios.”
Both models of the Savage Bipod offer adjustable tilt with a tension lever, and swivel capabilities, and have no-slip high-traction rubber feet so they are not only easy to use but will keep in place during firing. Speaking of the feet, the distance between the rubber-bottomed feet measures between 7.2-10” for the M-LOK model, and 9”-11.5” for the Swing Swivel model. The bipod’s design also allows for a quick flick to deploy and what Savage calls an intuitive buttonless stow.
Additionally, both models of bipods from Savage have numbered leg positions for quick positioning and repeatable set-up along with the shielded button intervals to keep dirt and debris out of the system. The ergonomic design makes for quick and easy use, regardless of conditions. The M-LOK and the Sling Swivel bipods from Savage Arms are available now, in black, and have an MSRP of $99.
