Holosun’s SCS Carry stands for Solar Charging Sight. The previous edition of the SCS and the SCRS (Solar Charging Rifle Sight) were among the first of their kind of sights that could be recharged with solar energy. But they are large for what most of us would like on a carry handgun. The new SCS Carry is just the discreet option to put on an everyday carry pistol that can be topped off by passive sunlight.

The SCS Carry has several features that we have come to expect from Holosun. It features a 20,000-hour power reserve with a multi-sensor auto brightness system that automatically adjusts the brightness of the dot to your environment. But the optic also has an override, so you can manually adjust the brightness yourself. The optic features a 7075 series aluminum housing with an aspheric glass lens and uses a 32 MOA and a 2 MOA dot, or you can alternate between the two. The package is complete with the inclusion of an RMSc to K adapter plate to fit a wider envelope of handguns.
