Savage Arms Announces New AccuCan Suppressor Line

Savage Arms has expanded its product offerings with a new line of products: the AccuCan line of suppressors. This new line of suppressors initially includes three models that are designed to be some of the lightest, most serviceable suppressors on the market.

Ranging from the AC22 up to the AC338, the three new suppressors from Savage Arms are each designed to meet specific criteria based on the compatible caliber of the suppressor to go head-to-head with existing suppressors and exceed. From performance down to the lightweight profile, these new MonoKore-design suppressors are rugged and according to Savage, the suppressors have unmatched strength-to-weight ratios.

We’re really proud of the features, technology, and true performance-enhancing qualities found in our initial suppressor offerings. We’re excited to have the Savage name in another new and rapidly growing category. We can’t wait for shooters and hunters to get these into the field to see the advanced design, quality, reliability, and ruggedness that accompany all Savage Arms products.”

The AC338, AC30, and AC22 feature a three-piece design that is said to be easy to disassemble and reassemble so the user can quickly service the suppressor as needed. The AC338 is designed for PRS rifles and has the best weight-to-strength ratio in its category. The AC30 is designed as a lightweight hunting suppressor for 7.62x51mm and 6.5 Creedmoor rounds. The AC22, is designed for 22 caliber rounds and is full-auto rated for .22 LR.

Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with 6AI-4V Titanium components, the direct thread-on suppressors are durable and range in weight from 3.5 ounces for the AC22 up to 18.5 ounces for the AC338. The Savage AC22 suppressor has an MSRP of $399.99, the AC30 has an MSRP of $$699.99, and the AC338 has an MSRP of $999.99.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
