High Speed Gear Elastic Mag Pouches: Unparalleled Versatility

High Speed Gear TACO pouches are very popular, and for good reason. You can adjust the tension to run just about any sized mag you want. Between that and the open-top design, they offer a perfect balance of retention and accessibility. You probably already knew all of that. But did you know that the company just launched a whole new series of mag pouches? It’s called the EP Series, or Elastic Mag Pouches. The series is designed to fit a wide range of pistol magazines, extended pistol mags, and rifle mags.

Let’s take a look.

High Speed Gear Elastic Mag Pouches
The HSG Elastic Extended Pistol Pouch (left) will hold most extended pistol or pistol caliber rifle mags. The basic Elastic Pistol Mag Pouch (center) fits most pistol mags. The Elastic Rifle Mag Pouch (right) fits, you guessed it, most rifle mags. These pouches have a low-profile design, and lightweight construction. HSG says they offer unparalleled versatility.

High Speed Gear designed the EP Series to be compatible with firearms that are popular for military, law enforcement, and civilian use. The pouches offer quick and easy access to magazines when each second counts.

Elastic Mag Pouch Features

  • The woven polypropylene core provides a point of index for the mags during reinsertion, which enhances overall speed and efficiency during critical operations.
  • The pouch has a rigid construction, which allows for seamless mounting on belts or carriers, thus ensuring stability and security during active engagements.
  • Mini MOLLE capability allows users to MOLLE the pouch as usual, but also facilitates compatibility with belts that have non-standard MOLLE widths.
  • Lightweight and low-profile design. The elastic mag pouches are made from a fabric laminate and can lay almost completely flat when empty. As the company describes it, “Whether it’s a high-intensity operation or a long-range patrol, the EP Series ensures that users can move swiftly and effortlessly.”

According to High Speed Gear, these mag pouches offer unparalleled versatility.

“We took [our] time with this one, and we are as excited about the EP Series as we are with our TACO line,” says Bill Babboni, COO of HSG. “At High Speed Gear, our mission is to always provide tactical gear that meets the highest standards of performance and usability. With the Elastic Mag Pouches, we have achieved just that. The innovative design of the EP Series fits what end users have been asking for, a price point ready – durable and reliable mag pouch. The versatility of these pouches makes them an essential addition to any tactical rig or loadout.”
