Vortex has expanded its lineup of accessory bags with the new GlassPak Pro. This is a modular chest-harness system that has been designed with the multi-day hunter in mind. When hunting in the wilderness, it’s important to keep binoculars and other items close at hand and protected. That’s where the GlassPak Pro shines.
The Vortex GlassPak Pro offers a quick, one-handed operation so the user can keep their eyes on the prize. The system is constructed with tough, weather-resistant materials to keep the items inside safe and protected. Vortex has thought of all the little details with this chest harness: it’s modular, easy to adjust, and padded in all the necessary spots. The Pak is available in two sizes, small and large, so there is one sure to meet any user’s need.
According to Vortex, the Pak is modular, with attachment points for various accessories like rangefinders, sidearm holsters, or even bear spray. The GlassPak Pro keeps all the essentials, besides just binoculars, all within easy access. Additionally, the pack boasts front, side, and rear storage pockets for all essentials. The main pocket of the pack has a microfiber interior to cut down on noise while giving the extra padding.
The GlassPak Pro is easy to adjust and can be worn under a backpack or as a solo unit and will withstand whatever the user throws at it. When used with a backpack, the pack includes quick detach buckles to easily adjust for a custom fit. The extra padding in the pack means that it will protect and shield the items inside from scratches, dings, and even accidental drops. Coupling the padding with the DWR-treated exterior, any items inside will be protected from the elements.
The GlassPak Pro is available in small [fitting most 42mm or smaller binoculars] and large [fitting most 50mm or 56mm, or Razor UHD 42mm and 50mm binoculars] sizing. The packs have an attached laser rangefinder case and a tethered lens cloth. Regardless of sizing, the packs are available in tan and have an MSRP of $179.99.
