In partnership with Taurus USA, Viridian Weapon Technologies has announced the release of the new Custom CTL weapon light for Taurus pistols. While the partnership isn’t exactly new, and the two companies have been working together for quite some time, this new line of lights is sure to stir the market a bit as it’s designed to fit almost any Taurus pistol model.
Constructed from 6061 aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish, the Custom CTL offers a lightweight light source with an impressive 525-lumen (17,000 Candela) output from an energy-efficient LED tactical emitter. Powered by an internal battery, the CTL also features the new SafeCharge power bank, which offers an effective recharge process for the light. Featuring a magnetic recharge port, the SafeCharge system allows the unit to be charged anywhere, making sure it’s ready to go when you are.

The Viridian Custom CTL has an Instant-On activation feature or can be turned on manually with the ambidextrous buttons. The light also features a universal ratcheting adjustable mounting rail, helping make the CTL both versatile and small. The CTL has a 60-minute run time and has four light modes to choose from. With an IPX6 Water Resistance, the Viridian Custom CTL is durable and reliable. Weighing just 1.73 ounces, the Viridian Custom CTL Taurus Custom Tactical Light has an MSRP of $119.
