Streamlight, the leading maker of weapon light and laser systems, has upgraded its proven TLR RM lights with a new high-performance, high-lumen face cap.

The upgrade covers the established TLR RM 1 and TLR RM 2 lights with either red or green lasers. Alternatively, the new face cap is available for versions of these lights that have no laser. Thanks to the new face cap, these lights now boast a white-hot beam of up to 1,000 lumens and up to 22,000 candela for maximum intensity and range, particularly when put on a long gun.

“The addition of the HPL face cap to these models results in high-lumen lights that also deliver a powerful beam with extensive range and solid peripheral coverage,” remarked Streamlight President and CEO Ray Sharrah. “Their ability to put more light on a target at a distance makes them powerful tools for law enforcement professionals, military personnel, hunting and shooting enthusiasts, and others when operating under low-light conditions. And the models with integrated red and green aiming lasers help to improve focusing on targets before taking any action.”

All models feature a powerful LED and a custom TIR optic that projects a beam for the best possible peripheral illumination without sacrificing range. The RM 1 models use a three-volt CR123A lithium battery and boasts 500 lumens and 11,000 candela with a beam range of 210 meters. The newer RM 2 takes two of the same battery and has a more powerful 1,000 lumen and 22,000 candela beam with a 297-meter range.

If you already have an RM 1 or RM 2 light, the HPL face cap can be purchased on its own. These upgraded lights are now available and have an MSRP of between $235.96 and $573.04.
