Thunder Beast Arms Corp, an established and trusted provider of quality firearm suppressors and muzzle devices, has announced several new products at SHOT Show 2024. Some of the new suppressors are upgrades of existing models, while one is a new design.
The brand-new suppressor released at SHOT is the ULTRA50 suppressor. The .50 cal suppressor is made from titanium and designed to allow the shooter to go all day when it comes to felt recoil. According to TBAC, experienced shooters will be shocked when shooting the ULTRA50 when compared to other .50 BMG suppressors or muzzle brakes. From company testing, the ULTRA50 reduces felt recoil by 65% compared to the unsuppressed fire and provides a sound reading at the shooter’s ear of 136 dB.
The ULTRA50 is available in two configurations, a short and long option with the removal of a section in the middle, and weighs 60 ounces and 73.5 ounces respectively. The suppressor has an overall length of 18.5 inches for the short configuration and 22.5 inches for the long version. The suppressor ships from TBAC with one muzzle brake, and other brakes can be purchased as needed. It is available in four Cerakote color choices: black, FDE, OD Green, and Surg Brown. It has a price tag of $5,495.
Upgraded models from TBAC include new lengths and “RR” Reduced Recoil versions. The new length expansion is on the Magnus line of suppressors. The Magnus is a full auto-rated rifle suppressor family geared towards the .30 caliber rifle and was originally offered in just a nine-inch suppressor. TBAC is now offering a K-length of 5.5 inches and an S-length 6.9 inches option for the same suppressor. The new lengths are available for .30 cal, .338 cal, and .375, according to the company.
The other addition to the suppressor lineup is the RR models of suppressors or Reduced Recoil models. These models, also referred to as “Race Ready” models, employ the same brake that can be found on the ULTRA50 on the Magnus suppressor. These new models have reduced felt recoil by 60-65%, depending on the model, up from the 30% from the original model. Additionally, TBAC is now offering a 33 ULTRA RR suppressor. According to TBAC, the new version reduces the fed recoil by 54% when compared to a bare muzzle, whereas the original has 32%.
