SHOT Show 2024: Dead Air Silencers Expands Nomad Suppressor Line

Dead Air has announced an expansion of its suppressor family with three new suppressor models at SHOT Show 2024. The new suppressors offer lightweight performance and exceptional reliability thanks to the patented Nomad baffle system.

The expansion of the three new models, the Nomad Ti XC, LTi XC, and Nomax 33, all equipped with the enhanced baffle system that has been proven to reduce the sound signature with even less back pressure than previous models. Particularly, the Nomax 33 takes the technology and puts it in a large bore suppressor with titanium construction to keep it light.

Dead Air Silencers uses state-of-the-art 3D printing processes with its designs to get the very best out of the suppressors without taking away from the sound performance. Constructed from Grade 5 6A1-4V Titanium, the expanded line is some of the lightest suppressors with proven technology, making these suppressors some of the easiest to take along with you on a cross-country hunt. The Nomad Ti XC and Nomad LTi XC have ratings up to .300 Rum, while the Nomax 33 has a rating for a .33XC, semi-auto, or bolt-action only.

The new suppressors aren’t just light, they are also versatile. Designed to be effective on both bolt-action and gas guns, the suppressors can be ordered with the Xeno adapter or can be a direct thread, but the HUB socket means the user can swap out the mounting options to fit their needs, with specific mount options depending on the model.

The Nomad Ti XC suppressors also feature a replaceable front cap and can be used with all the R-Series front caps and e-brakes (the Nomax 33 is only compatible with the R-series). Each model has barrel restrictions depending on the ammunition used, and the aggressive tool features mean the tools stay in place when swapping mounts to match the host weapon mounts.

The suppressors are available in black, FDE, and silver color options and have a diameter of 1.76” for the Nomad LTi XC and Ti XC models and 1.75” for the Nomax 33. The overall length of the Ti XC body is 6.35” without any mount, 8.12” for the LTi XC body, and 9.1” for the Nomax 33. With low body weights (7.4 oz, 9.9 oz, and 12.2 oz respectively). The new Dead Air Nomad and Nomax suppressors are available now and have MSRPs of $1,049 base for the Ti XC, $1,199 for the LTi XC, and $1,299 for the Nomax 33.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
