SHOT Show 2024: Benelli Releases Lupo HPR Rifle

Benelli introduced the Lupo back in 2020. With their first bolt-action rifle, the firm was empowered to break tradition by making it modular to the shooter. In addition, Benelli fine-tuned the action and barrel for smooth operation with an MOA guarantee. For 2024, they’ve introduced the Lupo HPR bolt-action rifle.

As the byproduct of several Benelli-engineered technologies, the Lupo High Precision Rifle (HPR) heightens the long-range shooting experience. Depending on your chosen caliber, the HPR comes with either a 24 or 26-inch free-floated barrel. Benelli’s Crio treatment destresses the 22mm diameter heavy contour barrel for better harmonics. Thanks to these enhancements, the HPR comes with a five-round 3/4 MOA accuracy guarantee. A recoil-reducing BE.S.T muzzle brake tops off the barrel.

The Benelli three-lug action has a brisk 60-degree throw for fast cycling and minimal interference with optics. Speaking of optics, the rifle mounts a 30 MOA Picatinny rail over the receiver so you can mount a scope as close to the bore as possible. An adjustable 2.2-4.4 pound trigger completes the action.

The synthetic forend is M-LOK compatible with two QD sling mounts. Two sling mounts allow bipod mounting while the other accommodates one point of a two-point sling. The buttstock has an interchangeable pistol grip and an eight-position adjustable comb. Benelli’s Progressive Comfort butt pad complements the stock and operates similarly to the firm’s famous shotgun recoil control systems.

The Lupo High Precision Rifle is available in 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum, .300 PRC, and .338 Lapua Magnum. These models are shipping now and have an MSRP of $2949.
