SHOT 24: The New Remington Premier CuT Ammunition Line

Remington Ammunition has released a new line of centerfire rifle ammunition, Remington Premier CuT, geared towards big game hunters. This lead-free ammunition features a tipped copper projectile that produces what Remington calls exceptional accuracy.

The round has a monolithic copper alloy projectile with maximum aerodynamic efficiency. Furthermore, the bullet’s precision tip provides the Premium CuT load with a high ballistic coefficient and flat trajectory. With its aerodynamics and superior weight retention, the round delivers penetration at distance in medium and big game targets. Combining these elements produces the expansion and energy transfer upon impact that many big game hunters need.

Remington states the copper alloy bullet retains up to 95% of its weight upon impact. Furthermore, the projectile’s grooves provide aerodynamic performance for reliable and consistent results. As the name implies, the Premier CuT family of ammunition features Remington’s premier components with guaranteed reliability from each round. Remington Centerfire Product Director Kris Carson had the following to say about Remington Premier CuT,

Our goal with Premier CuT was to create a game-changing ammunition that would provide hunters with the next level of precision and effectiveness. We are confident that Premier CuT will exceed their expectations and become their go-to choice for big game hunting.

The Premier CuT line of ammunition is available in: 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 270 Win, 7mm-08 Rem, 7mm Rem Mag, 7mm PRC, 30-06 Sprg, 308 Win, and 300 Win Mag. The ammunition comes in 20-round boxes and has MSRPs ranging from $54.99 for the 6.5 Creedmoor up to $88.99 for the 7mm PRC. The ammunition can be seen this week at the 2024 SHOT Show and online.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
