Rossi USA Expands R95 Line

Rossi USA reintroduced the high-power lever-action rifle in 2023 with the R95 chambered in .30-30 Winchester. That deer-ready five-shooter comes with traditional walnut stocks and steel with a black oxide finish. However, sometimes you need gear that you can forget about when the going gets tough. Whether you are hunting the Deep South marsh or stalking the snowdrifts of the Far North, Rossi has you covered with the R95 Triple Black and Laminate rifles.

Quick Specs:

  • Models: R95 Triple Black; R95 Laminate
  • Caliber: .30-30 Winchester
  • Capacity: 5+1
  • Barrel Length: 16 inches; 20 inches
  • Overall Length: 35.5 inches; 39 inches

The Triple Black comes with the same black oxide Cerakote finish as the original R95, but it now comes with a rubberized wood stock. In a nod to newer tactical lever guns, the Triple Black is not only all black, but comes with an enlarged lever loop, a generous Picatinny rail with an attached rear peep sight, and a 5/8×24 TPI threaded 16-inch barrel.

The Laminate has the same generous lever loop, sighting setup, and five-round magazine tube capacity. But this model aspires to be a true all-weather hunting rifle rather than a tactical rifle. It sports a grey laminate wood buttstock and fore-end that will resist warping in foul weather. Unlike the Triple Black and the original R95, the Laminate model’s action and barrel are stainless steel and finished smartly. It also sports a longer twenty-inch barrel so you can get the most out of those .30 caliber pills.

The Rossi Triple Black and Rossi Laminate 30-30 rifles are shipping now and have an MSRP of $1269 and $1199, respectively.
