Vortex has upgraded its binocular offerings, marrying convenience and capability. The new compact Razor UHD 8×32 and 10×32 binoculars offer both in a smaller, easier-to-carry option.

The compact size of the new Razor UHD binoculars, just 5.7” tall, keeps all the features that the end user would expect from Vortex, like a broad field of view, razor-sharp image quality, and low-light performance, in the lightweight but strong frame. According to Vortex, the new binoculars offer a unique fusion of ultra-high-definition clarity with rugged portability and smooth ergonomic controls for all situations.

The new binoculars’ UHD (Ultra High Definition) optical system provides superior edge-to-edge sharpness and a detailed picture that allows the end user to define targets against surrounding items, like telling between branches and trophy racks in an instant. Additionally, the unit provides brightness within the picture so users can easily use it in covered conditions and dense forests all day long. The units employ the Schmidt-Pechan prism to help with this brightness, while the sleek design keeps down bulk and weight.

Each of the new UHD binoculars ships from Vortex with the exclusive GlassPak Pro Binocular Harness. This new soft and quiet harness keeps the units close at hand while keeping them protected from the elements. The harness also features loops and attachment points to add on a rangefinder pouch, accessories, or additional security measures like holsters or bear spray. As an additional bonus, the UHD binoculars can also be mounted on a tripod for more comfort in different situations.

The new UHD binoculars also have other features that consumers have come to expect from Vortex, like the protective coatings on the units, argon gas purged and sealed, and fogproof and shockproof designs. The new UHD 8×32 and 10×32 binoculars from Vortex are available now and have an MSRP of $2,149 and $2,199, respectively.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
