RETAY USA Enters the World of Tactical Shotguns

RETAY USA imports several models of the venerable RETAY sporting shotguns from Turkey. These shotguns are available at competitive prices and come with tight-shooting deep-bore drill barrels for the best possible patterns. By customer demand, RETAY USA is offering several 12-gauge tactical shotguns for personal protection.

The new RETAY Tactical models are clones of the venerable Remington 870 and come in different configurations to satisfy dedicated home defense and hunting applications.

“RETAY shotguns are designed to be your go-to gun,” explained Jesse Highling, VP of RETAY USA’s business development division, “And by go-to, we mean a shotgun you can rely on to perform under tough conditions with repeatable performance. Our tactical customers love RETAY’s Inertia Plus system for its stealth. Our deep bore drilled, dead-straight barrels and factory-lengthened forcing cones put more pellets on a smaller target, greatly decreasing overshot. These are all important factors for our professional customers.”

The base model is the GPS XL, an upsized pump-action shotgun with a 3.5-inch chamber, like that on a good waterfowl gun. It wears a 28-inch barrel that is not optimal for tight quarters but comes with synthetic furniture and a quick-cycling geometric pump. The action is downsized to three-inch magnum shells with the GPS Pump Action Compact and Pistol Grip Compact models. These have the same features but use a handy 18-inch chrome-lined barrel with a high-visibility front sight.

For those who want one firearm for all applications, consider the GPS Security and Hunting Combo. The base of this shotgun is the GPS Pump Action Compact with an 18.5-inch barrel and a three-inch chamber. The combo comes with this, as well as the 28-inch barrel seen on the XL.

These new shotguns are currently shipping and not yet available for pre-order, but the XL, Compact, Pistol Grip, and Combo models are priced at $499, $399, $449, and $549, respectively.
