High Speed Gear (HSGI) has announced a partnership with David Acosta Jr. from Allegiance Defense Solutions to develop the Lo-V Mag Pouch Series, a new line of combat-ready rifle and handgun magazine pouches. These new pouches are designed to be extremely versatile and concealable. With input from Acosta, HSGI believes they have created a pouch that’s highly functional and reliable, appealing to shooters of all backgrounds and disciplines.
The Lo-V Mag Pouch series features high-end fabrics coupled with elastic and stiff thermoplastic composites, resulting in the perfect blend of rigidity and flexibility. The design of the pouches allows for a more discrete way of carrying pistol or rifle magazines within the waistband or in a standard pants pocket. With an exterior boasting a cant-compatible clip design, the pouch can house both pistol and rifle magazines and can fold flat when the pouch is empty for out-of-the-way storage and transport.
With a rigid polypropylene mounting panel on the outside, the pouch stays secure in place and a multitude of cants and ride heights can be employed at the user’s preference. The backing of the pouch features comfortable fabrics with infused sweat guard technology meaning the pouch can be worn all day without the worry of it collecting the body oils.
Keeping the magazines in place and secure in the pouches is thanks to the Discreet Carry Concepts clips, which hold things together with adjustable retention hardware. According to HSGI, the Lo-V Mag Pouch series has the best-in-class clip for strength, size, and finish, and can be adapted to work with different belt sizes. The pouches ship from the company with the DCC Mod 4 1.5” Shorty Belt Clip and have an overall weight of 31 grams for the pistol pouch and 60 grams for the rifle pouch.
The High Speed Gear Lo-V Mag pouches are made in the US and are Berry Compliant. The pistol Lo-V Mag pouch has an MSRP of $59.99 while the rifle Lo-V Mag Pouch has an MSRP of $82.99.
