MDT Sporting Goods Ltd. has announced it has upgraded the HNT26 Chassis System offerings to now include an option that has compatibility with Remington 700 Based Medium Actions. Geared specifically for hunting and building off the success of the original HNT26 Chassis, this new version gives users another option for a lightweight and reliable hunting platform.
While consumers have previously used other chassis systems from MDT, the company developed the HNT26 Chassis system specifically as a hunting option, keeping it lightweight but full of function. Constructed from a magnesium alloy, the lightweight chassis features a carbon fiber forend, carbon fiber pistol grip, and foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock which helps mitigate felt recoil, all with an overall weight of just 26 ounces. This helps the HNT26 Chassis System to be a durable option and to be one of the most ultra-light hunting rifle chassis on the market today.
But the lightweight design does not mean it isn’t purpose-built. The HNT26 hunting rifle chassis still includes the features hunters need, like v-block bedding, an adjustable length of pull and comb height, as well as AICS magazine compatibility, and a seamless magazine latch in the trigger guard. Additionally, the MDT HNT26 rifle chassis has an option for an integral ARCA rail for use with tripods and can be ordered with a folding buttstock for a smaller package for storage.
The HNT26 Chassis has been tested on the Zermatt Medium, Lone Peak Medium, and Defiance XM Plus actions, and is said to work flawlessly, as well as other Remington 700 Based Medium Actions. The HNT26 is available in a Black and Carbon Fiber Black or a Cobalt Green color, in addition to the other aforementioned options. The MDT HNT26 Chassis System, now available for the Remington 700 Based Medium Actions, is available now with an MSRP of $1,399.95.
