Magpul has started to tease its new products for 2024 with the release of the MOE X-22 stock for the Ruger 10/22 carbine. The MOE X-22 stock is said to be the ideal stock for a lightweight and budget-friendly upgrade to the Ruger 10/22.
Designed specifically for the Ruger 10/22, the stock comes from Magpul with two different diameter barrel trays to accommodate both standard pencil barrel models as well as bull barrel models. The MOE X-22 stock can accept barrels up to 0.920” in diameter and a minimum length of 12.5” to ensure a proper fit within the stock. Constructed from a lightweight yet durable polymer material, the MOE X-22 stock weighs just over one pound (18.9 ounces) helping keep the overall weight of the rifle down.
With a minimalistic design, the stock features M-LOK slots at the 6 o’clock position for easy addition of accessories like bipods. The MOE X-22 stock, while minimalistic, features Magpul’s exclusive TSP texture on the pistol grip along with the non-slip butt-pad with an angled toe for enhanced ergonomics for the shooter. The stock also features integral sling loops on the toe and forend that are compatible with Uncle Mike’s style locking swing swivels. To round it out, the MOE X-22 stock has a length-of-pull of just 13.5”.
As with all Magpul items, the MOE X-22 stock is 100% American-made and is full of efficiency. The stock is available right now in Black, but Magpul also lists Flat Dark Earth, Stealth Gray, and Olive Drab Green coming soon. The Magpul MOE X-22 stock for the Ruger 10/22 has an MSRP of $69.95, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Ruger started offering the new MOE X-22 stock as an option from the factory.
