MAC to Import Legendary High Power to US

Fresh for 2024, Military Armament Corporation and SDS Imports have announced the companies are bringing a world-famous pistol back to the US, the Inglis High Power pistol. According to reports, MAC will offer several models of the High Power exclusively in the US for consumers to choose from.

The first model coming to the US is the L9A1, the WWII firearm made by Inglis. Chambered in 9mm Luger, this familiar firearm was used by the British Commonwealth forces between 1962 and 2013. It features a 4.7-inch barrel with a single action function. Featuring a Black Chromate Finish, this pistol is said to have an incredible and rich heritage with firearm enthusiasts. It has an overall length of 7.7 inches and an overall weight of 31 ounces unloaded. Not only that, but it has a 14+1 capacity for shooters.

“We’re very excited to be able to partner with Inglis and bring this historic brand back from the dead,” stated Military Armament Corporation/SDS CEO Tim Mulverhill. “The market demand has not been met for historically accurate High Powers. We’re planning for the L9A1 to influence the High-Power market the way the Tisas US Army did in the 1911 market.”

The other three models coming into the US with the original L9A1 High Power are slight variations of it. The first is the Inglis P-35B, which has the same features as the L9A1, but sports black and walnut grips. The second model is the Inglis P-35N which features satin nickel and black G-10 grips. The final model is the Inglis GP-35, which is a case-hardened High Power model. According to the company, it will be offering an electroless nickel “MKIII” version, and a limited-edition case-hardened model within a wooden presentation case will mark the re-introduction of the pistol to the US market.

The MAC/SDS Imports Inglis High Power pistols will have an MSRP of $489.99 for the base L9A1 model, $549.99 for the black/walnut or nickel/black G-10 grip models, and $649.99 for the GP-35 case-hardened model.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
