Hornady Announces New 2024 Products

Hornady has announced its new and upgraded products for 2024, which will be the company’s 75th anniversary. The product announcement includes new ammunition, several expanded ammunition lines, and various accessories.

One of the new families of ammunition is the V-Match line, geared towards varmint shooting. The V-Match uses a state-of-the-art ELD-VT bullet with high-velocity retention with minimal wind deflection, the bullet reportedly provides ultra-flat trajectories and rapid expansion. With high-quality components and loading to exact specifications, the V-Match is a match-grade round with match-grade accuracy. The V-Match family features the 22 ARC 62gr, 6mm ARC 80 gr, 6mm Creedmoor 80gr, 6.5 Grednel 100gr, and 6.5 Creedmoor 100gr options.

The next new family of ammunition is the 22 ARC or Advanced Rifle Cartridge round. This ammunition is a compact cartridge for an AR or bolt action rifle, using the new 62-grain ELD-VT bullet. This round is said to rival 22-250 and is engineered to use modern, high-BC bullets. The ammunition provides consistent accuracy, desirable velocity spreads, and an outstanding shooting experience, according to Hornady. The round is a part of meticulous design and is available in 22 ARC 62gr ELD-VT Match, 22 ARC 75gr ELD Match Hornady BLACK, and 22 ARC 88gr ELD Match rounds.

Hornady has a new 5.7x28mm round with a 40gr bullet, which ensures reliable cycling and optimized propellants. These components help to reduce recoil and limit muzzle flash. The 5.7x28mm round is available with a 40gr FTX Critical Defense load and a 40gr V-MAX Hornady Black load.

Hornady is also releasing a new bullet, the ELD-VT. This round delivers unmatched accuracy and rapid fragmentation, making it the ideal cartridge for long-range varmint hunts and long-range competitions. The bullet profile lends itself to a reduced core-to-bullet length ratio for max muzzle velocity and better aerodynamic performance. The bullet is available in four sizes: 22 Cal. .224”, 6mm .243” 80gr, 6.5mm .264” 100gr, and a 30 Cal .308” 174gr.

To wrap up the new products for Hornady, the company announced expansions to existing lines and expanded safe offerings and accessories. The new cartridges join existing ammo families like the CX Custom, American Gunner, and NTX Hornady Black lines. New safes were also announced: the Mobilis safe with a modular design that can be transported and assembled as needed. The Mobilis safe is available in 3 different sizes. Other new products include the Square-Lok Organizating system in various hook and rack options, a new Click-Adjust Bullet Seating micrometer for ammo reloading, and a HIT Target Impact Indicator, making targets visible up to 1,000 yards away.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
