From one of the world leaders in Holographic Weapon Sights, is a new family of rifle scopes. EOTech has announced the release of the new Vudu X line of scopes. Designed for use by shooters across the board, the family of scopes is meant to satisfy the needs of outdoor folks, whether it be 3-gunners, hunters, or recreational shooters.
Constructed from a solid piece of aircraft aluminum, the Vudu X scopes feature a high-quality AR-coated glass for what EOTech calls an ultra-tough and crystal-clear unit. The first in the family are second focal plane optics, both with a 30mm tube diameter, designed to provide the shooter with quick and accurate target acquisition regardless of magnification levels. The Vudu X scopes also feature an illuminated reticle powered by a CR2032 battery for use even in low-light situations around dawn or dusk.
“We developed the X series line of Vudu scopes to address the shooter that wants all of the accuracy, precision, and durability of our legacy Vudu scopes, but with features and a price that better match their needs,” said Mark Miller, Director of Product Management for EOTech. “We have put in a lot of work in the designs of these scopes and as always, we ran them through the same excruciating testing that our other Vudu and holographic products go through. We are confident these will exceed expectations”.
Users interested in the Vudu X family of scopes will have a choice between a 1-6×24 model or a 2-12×40 model, both with a removable throw lever that allows for fast transitions across the magnification range. With adjustable MOAs, the DP1 offers a duplex crosshair while the BD1 gives extra circular ballistic holds at 2MOA increments geared for longer distances. Rounding out the features of the Vudu X family of scopes are capped turrets to guard against accidental changes, a simple reset feature that makes adjustments and returning to zero a breeze, and branded front and back flip-up scope caps for added protection.
Available in the first quarter of this year, folks will probably get hands-on with them at the SHOT Show in a couple of weeks. MSRP pricing for the new Vudu X family of rifle scopes starts at $799.
